Our journey begins in Ho Chi Minh City amidst the French Colonial villas and modern steel and glass skyscrapers. Here in Saigon you'll have time to discover this historic city on a local-guided walking tour through the markets and the city.
After two days of exploring, we will embark on the AmaDara and begin our seven-night journey up the "Nine Dragons River", better known as the life- giving Mekong River. As we sail, we'll be surrounded by the sights and sounds of this fascinating waterway bordered by flourishing forests, and the colorful houses of the people who live along this mighty river.
In Siem Reap, we'll continue with AmaWaterways for their post-cruise guided extension. With local guides and experts we'll explore the iconic Angkor complex, including Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm and, of course, the crown-jewel of Angkorian Temples, Angkor Wat.
